Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows with modeling detail, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, impressed cheek dimples, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed and with additional costume as shown in the book The Rose Unfolds by Rosalie Whyel and Susan Hedrick, page 190. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H 1. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: most desirable and rare character doll with gentle expression enhanced by softly blushed complexion, original body and body finish.
