7" (18 cm.) x 3" box. The wooden box with stretched leather cover is decorated with applique designs and metal pins along with metal banding, and hinges open to silk lined interior with red silk ribbons. Inside are ten leather bound volumes of Shakespeare with gold etching titles, published by Knickerbocker Leather and Novelty Company of New York. Excellent condition. Late 1800s.
