24" (61 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, brunette mohair curly wig, painted facial features, narrow brown side-glancing painted eyes in deeply set eye sockets, closed mouth with row of painted teeth and smiling expression, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Boy of 1910". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original red serge Buster Brown style two-piece suit with belt, collar and tie, matching cap, knit stockings, painted blue laced shoes, and carrying a small plush bulldog with amber glass eyes by Steiff. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
