Description
24" (61 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head tilted coquettishly to the side, auburn mohair wig in arranged curls, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes in deeply-defined eye sockets, closed mouth modeled as though open with painted teeth and tongue, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Girl of 1925". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original crepe de chene flapper era dress with bands of silk ruffles, wide brimmed bonnet, carrying silk flowers, black painted flat black shoes. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
