24" (61 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, brunette mohair wig with arranged curls, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes in deeply-defined eye sockets, closed mouth in gentle smile with painted teeth, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Girl of 1860". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original ensemble including fitted grey flannel jacket with loop closures, brown silk fringe, silk plaid skirt, hooped petticoat, brown and black painted shoes, and woven bonnet. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
