21" (53 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, dark brunette mohair wig, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes with decorative glaze, closed mouth with painted teeth between the slightly smiling lips, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Boy of 1875". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original navy blue sailor style costume, buckle shoes, straw hat, and carrying wooden ship model. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
