18" (46 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, auburn mohair curly wig, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes in deeply set sockets, closed mouth with painted teeth between the slightly smiling lips, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Girl of 1800". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original pale green silk dress with woven bonnet, stockings, fitted shoes, and carrying badminton racquet and birdie. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
