20" (51 cm.) All carved wooden doll with socket head, deeply carved intaglio blue painted eyes, white eye dots, dark upper eyeliner, tinted brows, closed mouth, original tacked-on brunette mohair wig, wooden spring jointed body, holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Pat. 17, 1911, USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: fine original finish is well preserved, original wig, with original metal posing stand, wearing antique gentleman's formal suit.
