Description
13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, brown sculpted hair combed into forelock curls and in front of sculpted ears, painted blue eyes with rich brown all-around shading, tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin bent-limb body, celluloid hands, wearing original satin bi-color body suit with matching wings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: copr. by Grace S. Putnam, Germany. Comments: the "Fly-Lo" baby model, copyrighted by the American artist, and made in Germany, circa 1928. Value Points: very rare doll is enhanced by superb sculpting and finest quality of bisque and painting, and with original paper label "Fly-Lo, The Little Aero Baby" by K&K.
