Description
4" (10 cm.) Presented as a paper mache taufling baby in a light wood cradle with cut-out designs at the sides, and painted stencil designs on the rocking frames, the doll is actually a shoulderhead with black painted hair and facial features, woven bonnet, tucked under a cotton padded blanket. Condition: very good, original finish albeit with some rubs, foot board lacking, bellow squeak box is not working. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: charming early toy with all-original components and decorations.
