14" (36 cm.) Brown serge stitched teddy bear with black prismatic button eyes, stitched nose, stitched-on ears, wearing cotton suit, and posed seated on wooden handmade tricycle. Good condition. American, folk art, the simply constructed bear which has been vigorously loved is most charming, circa 1890.
