19" (48 cm.) All carved wooden doll with socket head, deeply carved intaglio blue painted eyes with pronounced pupils and eye dots, tinted brows, outlined eyes, closed mouth, original tacked-on blonde mohair wig, wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Pat. 17, 1911, USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine deep sculpting of features, original wig, antique burgundy woolen suit, and carrying wooden Schoenhut goat with leather beard.
