20" (51 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, large painted hazel eyes with unusual brown iris-edging, black and brown upper eyeliner, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, blushed cheeks, blonde human hair short wig on muslin cap, stockinette body with stitch-jointed arms, loosely-funnel-attached legs. Condition: excellent condition. Marks: Kathe Kruse 3440. Comments: Kathe Kruse, their model known as "Du Mein", 1925. Value Points: rare wigged variation of the Du Mein in very fine state of preservation, most artistically-painted facial features, antique costume may be original.
