21" (53 cm.) All-wooden doll with socket head, blue sleep eyes, black upper eyeliner, brushstroked brows, closed mouth with row of painted teeth, blonde mohair wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.17th, 1911, USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1917, the model was marketed as Miss Dolly. Value Points: fine original painted finish, the sleep-eyed doll is wearing wonderful antique purple and grey great coat and cap, has pin "Roll Your Hoop" and carries a toy wooden hoop.
