10" (25 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead of pig with wonderfully sculpted smiling face, tiny glass eyes, red eyeliner, blushed eye lids and cheeks, painted snout nose and sculpted open mouth with painted teeth posed in wide smiling expression, cylindrical carton as torso and legs with original attached costume, wooden hoof hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Likely originally presented as candy container. Value Points: wonderful face of the rare Mrs. Pig.
