Description
39" (99 cm.) head to bottom torso. 12"l. head. Paper mache head depicting gentleman with black sculpted hair, beard and moustache, blue glass inset eyes, thick black eyeliner, painted brows, closed mouth, mounted on linen-covered mannequin torso which is mounted upon a wooden pedestal. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1870s. Value Points: rare early mannequin man with well detailed hair and beard, glass eyes, and wearing fine embroidered vest.
