17" (43 cm.) Peach sateen flat-dimensional face except shaped nose and slightly-bulged painted round eyes, triangle-shaped painted brows, thin line mouth with red accent, yellow yarn hair, muslin stitch-jointed body with brown flannel hands and black flannel feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: The Strawman by Ray Bolger of the Wizard of Oz, Ideal Novelty and Toy Co. (original paper label). Comments: Ideal, circa 1940. Value Points: rare doll wears complete original costume and has original paper label.
