27" (69 cm.) Posed upon a wooden platform is a paper mache head St. Nicholas figure with brown glass inset eyes, modeled thick white brows, and with white mohair beard and moustache, closed mouth, head attached in "nodding" fashion to one-piece paper mache torso and legs, arms posed away from body and decorated Christmas feather tree held in left hand, wearing red flannel suit and with painted black boots. Condition: very good, some dustiness of beard. Comments: Germany, when wound, St. Nicholas nods his head back and forth over and over again, the figure was designed as a store promotional figure. Value Points: well-preserved holiday figure, a basket of holiday wares is attached to his back.
