31" (79 cm.) Composition shoulderhead depicting aviation hero Charles Lindbergh, having sculpted side-parted hair, sculpted ears, painted facial features, blue eyes, strong nose, closed mouth with smiling expression, row of teeth, firmly-stuffed cloth body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, repair on one boot. Marks: Our Lindy, Regal Mfg Co New York (original paper label). Comments: Regal Doll, 1928, portrait of Charles Lindbergh. Value Points: rarely found doll, with original label, wearing original aviation suit including "fur" collar, leather glove hands, leather high boots.
