Description
13" (33 cm.) Pink tinted bisque socket head with solid dome, painted blonde brushstroked hair, intaglio narrow blue eyes with prominent black pupils, black and incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in very pronounced crying expression, defined tongue, shaded and accented lips, deeply sculpted frown lines around the mouth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Germany 7634 (and sunburst mark). (Holz-Masse mark on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very dramatic and expressively sculpted character with choice bisque and painting, original signed body and body finish.
