15" (38 cm.) Carved walnut spinning wheel with fruitwood inlays and beautifully carved trim in traditional Ivoire de Dieppe, has foot pedal that actually causes wheel to turn when pumped. Excellent condition, and a rare luxury model of the 19th century household object. Circa 1870.
