15" (38 cm.) Rose tinted porcelain shoulderhead with plump face, painted brilliant blue eyes, thick black eyeliner, delicately painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, the facial modeling and painting is suggestive of Mme. Rohmer, circa 1865. Value Points: exceptionally beautiful face with rich decoration of eyes, wearing fine white early pique gown, undergarments.
