3 1/2" (9 cm.) - 4" dolls. A large gathering of all-bisque miniature dolls in hospital like setting including eighteen patients resting in beds, and five standing nurses or technicians Each doll is all-bisque, the majority with brown complexion, tiny glass eyes, wigs and white gowns, several are variations including one-piece all-bisque seated brown baby and several white complexion girls with blonde hair. Each doll is wearing antique handmade costume. Germany, circa 1900, the origin and background story of the hospital presentation is not known.
