Description
For 15" poupee. 12" overall length. 3" shoulder width. Of crisp ivory silk the two-piece gown features a dart-fitted jacket with constructed self bows at the front and decorating the wide flaring sleeve cuffs; with skirt featuring elaborately draped flounces at each side of the front along scalloped edge hem and an extraordinarily dramatic back train with scalloped edge bustle. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870.
