19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion, brown glass sleep eyes with slight side-slant modeling, painted lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, amber-tinted composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1199 Germany Dep 7 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: fine deeply modeled features especially around mouth and chin, very choice bisque, beautiful antique costume with fine embroidery.
