28" (71 cm.) and 30". Each has bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, mohair or human hair wig in stylized coiffure, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 15 79 dep (bride) 16 79 dep (groom). Comments: Heinrich Handwerck, circa 1900. Value Points: the couple are wearing very elaborately detailed couturier bride and groom costumes and accessories including her coiffe of wax orange blossoms.
