Description
22" (56 cm.) excluding tail. 41" with tail. All mohair firmly stuffed fox with shaved muzzle, open mouth with felt lining and tongue, amber glass eyes, stitched-on ears, swivel head, is resting on back hunched with front paws in beseeching pose and having very long and full bushy tail; the mohair "fur" is shaded from golden russet to cream and with touches of black. With original Steiff button and yellow cloth tag (illegible number) in ear. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, 1950s.
