18" (46 cm.) h. x 10" w. 9" d. The honey-toned maple wood desk in Biedermeier fashion features a slant front which hinges open to paper lined interior, below an intricately shaped upper cupboard featuring a center large convex curved door with upper and lower drawers flanked by two tiers of convex curved drawers; below the desk are three drawers with concave curved shape. The desk has ball feet, ogee shaped edging and wooden knobs, and each drawer is lined with paper identical to desk interior. Excellent condition. Mid-1800s.
