Description
23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, incised eyeliner, lightly painted lashes, single stroke brows with shaded detail, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled with two beaded teeth, outlined and shaded very full lips, blonde mohair wig, antique dress and pinafore. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B 6 Germany. Comments: Germany, circa 1910, maker unknown. Value Points: wonderful very expressive merry face with deeply sculpted laughter lines and dimples at sides of mouth, double chin, very fine bisque, original body and body finish.
