Description
24" (61 cm.) All-felt fox with caricature face, disc side-glancing large eyes, felt applique whiskers, very large felt feet for standing, extended felt tail. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: maker uncertain, attributed to Lenci, late 1930s. Value Points: the cartoon fox retains vibrant colors of costume, wearing plaid shirt, felt checkerboard pants, vest, exuberant hat with big clusters of flowers and carries a knapsack with three felt birds.
