4" (10 cm.) The cap is of woven wicker in a very sturdy manner designed to hold its shape and protect a baby's head should the baby fall over, with decorative ribbons and binding, rare small size. Along with woven market basket with original matching lid. Excellent condition. French, circa 1860.
