4" (10 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with black painted hair and facial features, on attached body which is hidden by lavish flower petal gown, posed seated on a round base which is actually a secret box that opens at the bottom for its original use as candy container or for a special jewel or ring. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: most charming and all original presentation.
