Description
7" (18 cm.) w. x 6"h. x 4"d. The tin-wrapped wooden doll trunk with domed lid is a very unusual size, has brass keyplate and wooden slats. The interior lid is decorated with fine early papers and has a handkerchief lidded tray, and hinged-door compartment; and the bottom contains a lift-out tray with two lidded compartments, and the entire trunk is lined. Very good condition with some play rubs on papers, key not included. An outstanding early trunk with very rare size with fine decorations. Circa 1860.
