14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass set eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, impressed dimple in chin and philtrum, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, well costumed in linen dress with red trim, knit cap, red stockings, kidskin shoes with red ties. Condition: very faint horizontal line at front top of forehead, otherwise excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H III. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare model with most captivating expression, very choice bisque and modeling, original body and body finish.
