12" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with ebony black complexion, black painted hair, painted facial features, brown eyes, black eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with very full coral-shaded lips, black composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 28 K*R 100. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, the first model of the firm's art character series. Value Points: rare ebony black complexion has flawless bisque, original body and body finish.
