Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with pink tinted bisque, solid domed with painted blonde hair, high forehead, intaglio sculpted small blue eyes, incised eyeliner, short stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue tip, double chin, cloth body, composition and wooden ball-jointed arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 Heubach (in square) Germany, 7846. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rarely found model, the face has wonderful laughing expression enhanced by deeply impressed dimples, choice bisque.
