17" (43 cm.) Blonde mohair teddy bear with excelsior filling, swivel head, jointing at shoulders and hips, long arms, large feet, extended snout, black shoe-button eyes, hump back, felt paw pads. Mohair worn on muzzle, ears, and back of right arm, otherwise excellent. Germany, Steiff, circa 1920.
