11" (28 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair with softly swirling curls around the forehead painted blue eyes, single stroke brows, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, slender kid body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: wearing original costume comprising blue silk vest, linen slim pants, black shoes, and carrying wicker peddler's basket on back.
