17" (43 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead, sculpted short sculpted curls with forelock detail, intaglio dark blue painted eyes with upper glancing white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, short brushstroked brows, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with row of beaded teeth between the outlined lips, tentative smile, impressed dimples at lip corners, kid pin-joined body, bisque forearms, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (square) 5 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with most endearing shy demeanor achieved by slight smile and upper glancing eyes.
