Description
9" (23 cm.) diam. table, 6" h. The round mahogany table with richly grained wood has a center pedestal resting on splayed leg platform, and is laden with rich treasures highlighted by a 4" h. bronzed metal gas lamp with fluted blue glass shade; sterling silver tea service comprising 6"l. tray, lidded coffee pot (with extra stand), lidded tea pot, lidded pot for warm milk, creamer, sugar and two biscuit plates; painting of woman on porcelain resting on gilt metal easel, carved bone statue in original glass-fronted case with gilt paper edging; and miniature French book with engravings (binding loose). Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s.
