14" (36 cm.) h. x 14"l. x 8"w. Of finely-grained mahogany, with shaped posters at the foot and straight posters at the back designed to be hidden by fabric drapes, the bed has a wooden canopy top edged with wooden rods and brass curtain hoops. There is a green fabric drape across the canopy roof which extends in soft drapes at the back of the headboard, and the bed is fitted with original mattress, linens and pillows. Excellent condition. English, early-1800s.
