Description
8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, original commercial muslin body, bisque arms to above the elbows, bisque lower legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 2/0 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: in pristine unplayed with condition, the doll has original blonde mohair wig in long braids, original body with bare feet, and is presented in original trunk with an extraordinary arrangement of original costumes and accessories, still tied with dainty silk ribbons and arranged on three layered trays within the trunk.
