Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-lined torso, very plump face, blue glass inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with tiny lips, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms with sculpted bent elbows, curled fingers, muscular legs, painted white stockings and yellow ankle boots with defined lacing and heels, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with wonderful expression, fancy yellow boots, sparkling bright eyes, wearing original blue organdy dress and bonnet, and along with original trousseau comprising three original dresses, eight blue ribbon trimmed undergarments, and matching white organdy apron with lace straps.
