Porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair waved from face and captured under a painted sculpted snood at back of head, with pink tassel at the side, delicate feathering around the forehead, painted facial features, blue eyes, black upper eyeliner and brows, closed mouth, original muslin body, porcelain lower limbs, painted lustre boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare coiffure, original body, and wearing original sheer muslin gown trimmed with lace, pink fabric rose buds and tiny silver beads.
