Description
For 17" early Huret poupee. Of silk twill in a shaded bronze green color, the one-piece gown features a squared neckline over fitted center panel edged by wide bretelles which fall over petal-shaped sleevelets, above a very full skirt with tiny stitched gathers at the waist, and accented by wavy blue cording along the neckline, bretelles, sleeves and skirt front, and further accented by dangling blue silk thread balls. Excellent condition, few tiny tears in fabric. The dress has green stamp on inside waist band "Huret a Paris". French, Huret, circa 1860.
