Description
11" (28 cm.) w. x 5 1/2"h. x 8"d. The burled walnut box with silver bail handle hinges open to a well-fitted interior with tufted blue silk padding on inside lid (designed for use as pincushion), and lift-out tray fitted with various small compartments, several of which have padded blue silk lids. Interior is excellent, exterior has some wear at bottom front. Mid-1800s.
