Description
12" (30 cm.) Of classic Huret design, having twisted metal framework with gilded finish, the arched back armchair has original gold velvet upholstery over wooden seat frame. The underside of the seat is stamped Huret a Paris (and other indecipherable). The Huret family, whose principle enterprise was iron garden and salon furniture, also made miniature versions of this furniture specifically designed for the Huret poupee. Excellent condition, French, Huret, circa 1860.
