Description
6" (15 cm.) All-bisque doll with one-piece plump head, torso and legs, peg-jointed arms with bent elbows, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, painted socks and black ankle boots with double straps. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: charming little doll with lush wig, wearing cotton dress, is preserved in early trunk with red leather cover, along with four additional costumes and various jackets and bonnets.
