Description
For 17" early Huret genre manner. Of horizontally-ribbed white pique, the gown features a bodice with fitted center panel flanked by bretelles, rounded neckline, short pouf sleeves with fitted cuffs, very full skirt with double box pleats all around. The gown is accented with lavender soutache embroidery and lavender edging at rounded neckline and edges of bretelles and cuffs. The gown is structurally excellent, the embroidery is somewhat worn. French, in the Huret manner, circa 1860.
