Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0. Comments: French, circa 1875. Value Points: the petite poupee with gentle expression has very sturdy original body, lovely bisque, and is wearing original white pique ensemble with hand-stitched trim, bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
